As experienced professionals, Nastos
Construction, Inc. recognizes the need for effective communications
among all members of the Project Team, which includes owners,
subcontractors and suppliers. To foster this critical relationship from
the outset, Nastos implements a partnering methodology on most of its
projects.
The strength of the partnering approach is founded on the establishment
of a truly non-adversarial relationship among the parties of the team.
This is normally achieved by the attendance of all key project
personnel, including the contractor and the owner, at a series of
informal meetings where everyone becomes familiar with the goals and
duties of their respective counterparts. These sessions form the
beginning of mutual understanding and trust amongst all team members,
which become the basis of effective communication and teamwork as the
project progresses.
Regular meetings are established and continued throughout the duration
of the project to monitor and review project progress, design and
construction quality, examine methods to reduce cost and time, to
promote safety, and to ensure an economical and effective project
outcome.
Open and effective communication, leads to tangible benefits for all
team members. We understand that the partnering process is an approach,
which helps all parties clearly understand the basic aspects of
indefinite quantity/indefinite order contracting.
